Did you know that supporting Cotlands can assist your organisation achieve points towards your BEE rating?
The Cotlands organisation issues certificates to all companies that offer their support. These certificates can be submitted to your BEE verification agency and will increase the number of points on your BEE scorecard. In terms of the Codes of Good Practice for BBBEE, Cotlands serves over 8,000 beneficiaries and more than 95% of whom are black.
The Socio-Economic Development pillar encourages organisations to donate goods, services and money to the qualifying NGO. If small business enterprises, with an annual turnover between R 5-million and R 35-million, donate 1% of net profit after tax, the company will receive 25 points towards their BEE scorecard. Medium enterprises, with R 35 million or more annual turnover, will receive 15 points for a contribution of 3% of net profit after tax.
